Plastic low adsorption additive

Plastic low adsorption additive, which can greatly increase the liquid contact angle on the surface of injection molded products and reduce surface energy. It endows products with self-cleaning and ultra-low adsorption properties. It is compatible with various processing technologies, odorless and non-toxic. Modified products are widely used in liquid handling consumables, food containers, storage vessels, beverage bottles, packaging films and other fields.

Our low adsorption additive is a hydrophobic melt-processable additive specially developed for polypropylene (PP) and polycarbonate (PC). Different from finished low adsorption masterbatch, you can freely adjust the addition ratio according to your own production requirements, which brings better cost savings. At a loading of 0.2–1%, after melt blending with base resin, finished products such as pipette tips, test tubes and other laboratory wares form an excellent low-surface-energy surface with hydrophobic and oleophobic performance, effectively reducing retention of droplets and water films.

Pipette tips made with our low adsorption additive can reduce sample residue by 3 to 5 times compared with standard tips. It is ideal for pipetting applications with protein buffers, low-surface-tension reagents containing detergents, high-viscosity liquids such as glycerol, high-concentration protein or DNA solutions, and expensive reagents. It ensures accurate liquid transfer, cuts reagent cost and improves experimental reproducibility.

SGS REACH SVHC Compliance Certification Our Low Adsorption Additive has passed the REACH SVHC screening test issued by SGS authoritative laboratory. In accordance with EU REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, 253 SVHC substances on the candidate list were tested. All tested substances are ≤0.1% (w/w), with a PASS result. The product meets EU export compliance standards, is non-toxic and safe, and is suitable for demanding applications such as laboratory consumables and food-contact articles.
